Fly.. Will I?

Here I look up
entangled in a conundrum
at the celestial space,
embraced it with an elated face.


Step into a castle of oblivion
where thrived jubilation
pomp and alacrity
laughter and exultation
Days bloom with savour
Nights are joyful forever
I screamed to the vibrant sky
"here i come for a fright-less flight,
for a gleeful sprint
to touch that lust
which did rust
to clutch that love
for which I strived for long
to seek the fervour
which I longed for"


Raised my hands high
to fly to the startling sky
Clutched the walls,tried to move above
but failed with a sigh
Down did i drop
the same acrid smell did it crop
the dungeon pit ensnared me
Almighty! please set me fee
Can't bear this apathy
Done up with the chicanery



Here I survive in servility
lanced with captivity
I demand, I adjure, I shout, I plead
let me fly to my angel
let me feel his long warm gasps
let me amalgamate
let me laugh, let me fly
let me!! let me!!
