GREEN & RED

Once upon a time there was a little peaceful place called Shingoor. Peaceful?! It sounds like ancient past!! Just a piece of  barren land endowed with carcasses.  There were fertile lands all around. People over there were mostly farmers. Literacy, development, social enhancement and the king of all chicanery were never traced here. What made the heavenly powers angry? what was the omen that encroached? what was the bane that struck the land of fellow reapers? In their wildest dreams they never could imagine!!
The issue was about industrialization of Bengal. The government  wanted to industrialize West Bengal. Though more theoretically than practically. If it would have been the latter then students wouldn't have been desperate to move out of the state! The reds hoisted the flag of  industrialization but would like to quote the phrase "all that glitters aint gold" . The greens emerged to haul the above flag down for their respective reasons! May be they don't use their heads at all or use too much of it to mess up every damn thing.
The reds wanted the  magnificent tata Nano factory to make a never happened event!! to make history!!well would like to add by any means... The greens said fertile industrial lands will be gone for ever, farmers will starve to death! The reds said many engineers will be employed, there will be a tata factory in the state. Both 'had to' oppose each other. The reds never thought about the poor, deprived them time and again, snatched away their land, didnt give them the monitory help promised that was quite obvious they are good at making fake promises. The greens thought they could earn the sympathy by hindering the work of the reds. If they really wanted to help the poor and was concerned about the fertile lands then should have stopped the work at the very beginning!! they only wanted to take a shortcut to gather enormous number of votes.
Bengal witnessed some violent wretched wrangles, copious bloodshed, heart rendering screams. Men were slashed and smashed down to death, the reds and the greens attacked each other  with whatever they got.Women were raped, burnt alive, people were buried down alive, kids were orphaned ,men slashed each other brutally, burnt down the homes. They leaders watched the live roughshod theater. A microscopic minority of all the people were provided with monetary aid and the rest were left to die. They were threatened to zip up their mouths, they weren't provided with monetary aid. They were slaughtered by these butchers.
They only desire to sit on the throne, to get the votes, make 10,0000 fake promises, shed crocodile tears, shout their lungs out 24*7 before the election, enchant vande mataram n no. of times, probably  they don't know what the meaning is, may be they learn it by heart like the engineering students do before their semesters! What a waste! What a hypocrisy! What a mayhem!

  3. It was a case of misplaced priorities..The advocates of social upliftment through agriculture trying to woo the urban voters..Good points raised..To be precise if we calculate the percentage of students of west bengal moving out of the state for education/jobs,it would determine the magnitude of this farcical cry of industrialization!

    Kudos..it was a good one!
